A good choice might be the 2.0 TDI (DPF) 170bhp which averages 48.7mpg, has CO₂ emissions of 151g/km and 0-62 in 8.3 seconds. In the Sport and S line versions the 2.0 TFSI petrol engine with 6 speed transmission returns an average of 35.8mpg, CO₂ emissions of 189g/km and 0-62mph in 7.1 seconds and the 3.2 quattro 6 speed a combined average pf 26.9mpg, CO₂ emissions of 250g/km and 0-62mph in 6.4.
