Review (continued): The petrol engines include a 2.0 TFSI, a 2.4 V6 (with or without quattro), a 2.8 FSI (with or without quattro), a 4.2 V8 quattro and the S6 V10 quattro. The diesels include a 2.0 TDI, a 2.7 TDI (with or without quattro) and a 3.0 TDI quattro. As with the saloon version the TDI diesels are a good optimum combination of fuel economy, CO2 emissions and performance. The 6 speed manual 2.0 TDI has CO2 emissions of 162g/km, returns an average combined fuel economy of 45.6mpg and accelerates between 0-62mph in 10.5 seconds. The same figures for the 6 speed 2.7 TDI are 189g/km, 39.8mpg and 8.3 seconds. By comparison the 2.0 TFSI (petrol) has CO2 emissions of 192g/km, returns an average combined fuel economy of 34.9mpg and accelerates between 0-62mph in 8.7 seconds.
