The Touring version uses the same five petrol engines as the Saloon - 318i, 320i, 325i, 330i and 335i - and the same five diesel engines - 318i, 320d, 325d, 330d and 335d and three trims - ES, SE and M Sport. Using two examples for the petrol engines, the CO2 emissions, combined average fuel economy and 0-62mph acceleration (manual transmission) for the 318i and 320i engines respectively are - 144g/km | 47.1mpg | 9.5 seconds and 148g/km | 45.6mpg | 8.4 seconds - and the same data using the 318d and 320d as examples in that order for the diesel engines is 125g/km | 58.9mpg | 9.6 seconds and 131g/km | 57.6mpg | 8.1 seconds.
