Review: The Bravo is well designed, nicely contoured and well put together. It's composed and controlled on the road with little intrusion of engine or road noise. Even the entry level Bravo has decent equipment but there are enough variations to enable most people to get exactly the options they want. Many of the diesels stand out for their optimum combination of performance, low CO2 emissions and fuel economy but all are capable and economical to run. Review (continued): The Bravo, like the Grande Punto, was awarded the maximum five stars in the Euro NCAP crash tests. Safety equipment includes ABS with EBD, driver and front passenger front and side airbags and window airbags on all models except the entry level basic Bravo. There is a choice of three petrol engines -1.4 16v 90bhp, 1.4 16v T-Jet 120bhp and 1.4 16v T-Jet 150bhp and five diesel engines - 1.6 16v Multijet 105bhp, 1.6 16v Multijet 120bhp, 1.6 16v Multijet 150bhp, 1.9 Multijet 120bhp and 1.9 16v Multijet 150bhp. There are four basic versions - Bravo 1.4, Active, Dynamic, and Sport. Using different combinations of engine and transmission there are nine versions of the Active, eight of the Dynamic and two of the Sport.
