Review: An attractive and capable car that is very economical to lease and to run. It drives very well and with a lot of assurance. It's agile and easy to park although not a sprinter. There is nothing cheap or tinny about the vehicle - either inside or out. Everything fits well and opens and closes exactly as it should. The interior is bright and airy, well laid out and nicely finished. It's ideal for town and local driving but is quite happy breezing along at 70mph on the motorway. There is 200 litres of luggage space - a good average for its class. Easy to drive and fun to own.

Review (continued): Safety equipment includes ABS with EBD, FPS, front and rear seats with anti-submarining cross-piece and driver and front passenger airbags. ESP, ASR and side airbags are available as an option on most models except the Active. The Panda has a choice of three petrol engines - 1.1, 1.2 and 1.4 16v - and one diesel engine - 1.3 Multijet 16v. There are five basic trims - Active (1.1 petrol only), Dynamic (1.2 petrol engines and diesel Multijet), Eleganza (1.2 petrol only), Panda 4x4 (1.2 petrol only) and Panda 100 HP (1.4 16v petrol only). Within the Dynamic range there are also AirCon and SkyDome available). The CO2 emissions, combined average fuel economy and 0-62mph acceleration for the petrol engines (manual) in the order given above are - 135g/km | 49.6mpg | 15.0 seconds, 133g/km | 50.4mpg | 14.0 seconds, 154g/km | 43.5mpg | 9.5 seconds and for the diesel Multijet engine - 114g/km | 65.7mpg | 13.0 seconds. The Panda 4x4 is 156g/km | 42.8mpg | 20.0 seconds.
