There are four trims available for the Ford Fusion - Style, Style Climate, Zetec Climate and Fusion +. There is a choice of two petrol and two diesel engines. The smaller petrol engine is a 1.4i Duratec with manual or electronic shift transmission. The former has CO₂ emissions of 154g/km and a combined average of 43.5mpg while the latter falls into a lower VED category with 148g/km CO₂ and a combined fuel efficiency of 45.6mpg. The 1.6i Duratec petrol engine is available on the Zetec Climate and Fusion + and has CO₂ emissions of 157g/km (181g/km Auto) and a combined average of 42.8mpg (37.2mpg Auto). The smaller 1.4 TDCi Duratorq averages 61.4mpg with CO₂ emissions of 122g/km and the larger 1.6 TDCi averages 62.8mpg and CO₂ emissions of 119g/km. At 12.9 seconds between 0-62mph the 1.6 TDCi is only a shade slower than the 1.6i petrol version but much more powerful in the mid range speeds.
