Review: The Honda Accord Tourer has the same choice of engines as the Saloon - two petrol engines - a 2.0 litre i-VTEC and a 2.4 litre i-VTEC - and one diesel - the 2.2 i-DTEC - and its first rate build quality and performance are every bit as good although, as you would expect, acceleration and fuel economy aren't quite as good because of the extra weight. For an estate car it has unusual pace and agility - but always smooth and controlled. The choice of trims is the same as for the Accord Saloon - the ES, ES GT, EX and EX GT.

Review (continued): The 2.4 litre petrol version is capable of acceleration from 0-62mph in 7.8 seconds with CO2 emissions of 215g/km (211g/km Auto) and a combined average fuel economy of 31.4mpg (31.7mpg Auto). The 2.0 i-VTEC engines return a combined average of 38.7mpg (36.7 Auto) with CO2 emissions of 173g/km (183g/km Auto) and acceleration between 0-62mph in 9.4 seconds (10.8 seconds Auto). As with the saloon version the optimum blend of power and economy is the 2.2 litre diesel which manages 0-62mph in 9.7 seconds and returns a combined average fuel economy of 47.9mpg with CO2 emissions of 155g/km. Safety features are the same as the saloon version and include ABS with EBD, EBA, VSA, front, side and curtain airbags and side impact beams, ACC, LKAS and CMBS.
