Review: The Rav4 comes in four trims (XT3, XT4, XT5 and T180) with a choice of two D4-D 2.2 litre diesel engines and one petrol - a 2.0 litre VVT-i. Review (continued): It also has ABS with EBD plus stability and traction control. All that, plus nine airbags (including kneebag) make for a very safe and extremely stable and well handling vehicle. The overall build quality is exactly what you would expect from Toyota - first class - and the interior is roomy and neatly set out. The rear seats can slide to optimise legroom or storage space and they also split 60:40 and fold flat without any fuss. The large load area of 586 litres has very good access from a single right hinged door. Equipment provision is good but it's worth looking through the many options available on each version but nothing important has been left out from entry level up.
