Review: There are some fine and genuinely pacey engines in the Astra Sport Hatch range and although it inherits many of the features of the Astra Hatchback the modifications leave you in no doubt that it merits the appellation 'Sport'. To begin with the suspension is tighter and set lower and the steering is agile with plenty of road 'feel'. Review (continued): The 1.9 CDTi 150 Design gets from 0-60mph in 8 seconds and still returns an average of 48.7mpg. Equipment levels are very good but again you need to study the list of options.
