Review: Lusty and luxurious, the Touareg 4x4 is more than happy to strut its stuff off the road where the Electronic Stability Programme and specially adapted ABS play an important part. Apparently it thinks nothing of climbing a 45 degree slope and in order to move this vehicle's weight up that kind of incline the engines have to be very powerful. Its sheer size means that there is plenty of leg and head room and a large boot area. The interior is comfortable and very classy and even the basic level of equipment is good.
